Neweys Lot have won the MCDL Division One title but the runners up place is yet to be decided but looks like No More Bets will be runners up unless Top Flight win their rearranged game 12-0. In Division Two One hit wonders are promoted as Division Two Champions with runners up spot yet to be decided
25th March 2010
The leagues are nearly decided, with just one game left to play Neweys lot need 5 legs to secure the title, while at the bottom both Parkfield and Good Bad & Uglies have both found the going in Division One difficult and will return to Division Two darts next season. In Division Two One Hit Wonders are promoted and need just two legs to win the Division Two title, who goes up with them depends on Legionaires result with Ladybirds and the rearranged game between Cunning Stunts & Snooker Roadies and Cunning Stunts final game against Braza Rebels, however Legionaries are looking good for a return to Division One next year.
The league also needs a new secretary for next season.

Bets are still being taken on the league title, but Neweys Lot are now odds on to win it as they won 8-4 over No More Bets, In a game that had 71 ton plus scores which included 3 maximums from Terry Paul & Dave. One Vision in third also had a good 9-3 win over Dream Boyz who now are looking at a relegation battle although they have played one less game. Good Bad and Uglies have had 3 draws on the trot now with some great darts being thrown by Alan Hayes who this week hit ten ton plus scores which didn't quite surpass his total of ton plusses when his team played No More Bets. Alan then hit 11 ton Plusses including a 180! Parkfield are now in need of a miracle to stay up although they have struggled to field a full strength team in all their games.

4th December 2009
Game of the season so far should have been the 6-6 draw between One Vision and Neweys Lot, but read on. What made the game great was the 78 ton plusses, including 3 180s, 2 from Steve Roberts and 1 from Paul Newstead. The game was leg for leg until the last two games when Neweys Lot need the last two games for the draw, Paul Newstead and Dave Pinder came up trumps and secured the draw, however the result may not be enough for Neweys Lot come the end of the season. Elsewhere Parkfield had a 6-6 draw against Good Bad & Uglies. In Division two, there were two firsts. Mace inya Face had a 7-5 win away at Legionaires who suffered their first defeat of the season and Snooker Roadies won their first game………….yes since they joined the league in the 2006-2007 season they have played with great sportsmanship a smile and a handshake but never won a game until Friday 4th December 2009 when they beat Braza Rebels 7-5 wit Dave Coombs securing the victory in the last game of the night. Congratulations and hope that’s the first of a few!!

As some of you may or may not be aware our good friend Mark Cross has been taken ill recently and was diagnosed with the big C. However after finding the bastard disease very quickly he has undergone surgery and told to enjoy the festive season. I have attached the email I received from him should anyone want to read it and maybe send him an email or wish him all the best. What was spooky is that we as a league had already decided to support the oncology ward D9 at Addenbrookes how apt!!

16th October 2009
Another season starts in the March Clubland Darts League and already standards are set high. Greg Steadman set the target for the highest out shot in Division Two with a great 147 out in a match that saw the Cunning Stunts beat Snooker Roadies 9-3. That seemed the theme in Division Two with only the Ladybirds winning by a different margin 8-4 over the Cricket Clubs No Ball Chuckers. In Division one Dan Lambe, B Jones & J Utting hit maximums in 111 ton plus scores in the three matches played. Good Bad & Uglies newly promoted to Division One (formerly Young Ones) lost 7-5 in a tight game against last years 3rd placed team Top Flight.
