27th January 2012
Its turnaround and quite a few results were the same as at the start of the season.Neweys Lot had another 11-1 win against Top Flight Ladybirds had another 10-2 against GER Rejects, Garbage beat 20 20's 10-2 and No More Bets won 11-1 against No Limits. In the other games, Parkfield edged a 7-5 win against No Ball Chuckers in a game played at Parkfield. Tom Kavanagh hitting 8 ton plus scores for Parkfield. Cunning Stunts reversed the result with a 7-5 win over GER Outsiders although they were outscored they managed to hit the doubles. Corona Kids lost 10-2 over One Vision with Les Hodkinson hittting a 12 dart leg with 3x140, treble 17, 20 double 10, However he didnt hit any 180's but he is still 6 in front of his nearest rival Paul Newstead who has hit 5 maximums. Les Also leads the way in the Top Tons on 143, 9 ahead of Kev Cooper who is on 134, Any sheets that have not been handed in are not inclded in the Top Ton results.
6th January 2012
Cobwebs off its 2012 in March Clubland Darts league and the first game in 2012 showed with a lowly 222 ton plus scores. However Neweys Lot extend their lead with a 12-0 win over Parkfield and One Vision take a temporary 2nd place with a 10-2 win over 20 20’s followed by Garbage who had a great 12-0 win over GER Rejects, moving No More Bets down to fourth. Ladybirds had a night of missed doubles in their 6-6 draw with No Ball Chuckers and No limits move within two points of Corona Kids beating them 8-4 with Alan, Sue Shes & Stu hitting form in the New Year.

9th December
No big surprises in the Knockout Cup first round with nearly all top teams going through, However Corona Kids suffered a 7-6 defeat at the hands of Parkfield. Garbage admitted their 9-3 result over GER Rejects was a flattering scorline but as always its doubles for dough. Elsewhere No Limits lost against No More bets 11-1 and One vision were triumphant in a 12-0 thumping over 20 20's.
2nd December
With all games played this week and 296 ton plus scores Neweys Lot remain at the top of the table by 2 points over No More Bets, Garbage have caught One vision and are level on points. Paul Wenn took 3 ton plus Out shots this week including a 130 out, while his Team Mate Juliet Findley took a 127 Out & Man of the match in Cambridgeshires County weekend game. Les Hodkinson hit his 10th 180 of the season and we arent half way through yet! Elswhere Sue Stockbridge hit 10 ton Plus scores in her teams 7-5 win over Parkfield and Glen Hulley hit his first 180 of the season but could not help his team as they went doem 9-3 to Neweys Lot. Leading the Ton Plus scores for the season, its still Kev Cooper with 90 followed by Paul Wenn on 79 and Les Hodkinson on 78
11th November
In a similar situation to the premier league, two teams went into Friday nights games with a 100% record only one saw the next day with another victory. Neweys Lot have taken control at the top of the league with their comeback from 5-2 down against No More Bets, to win the last 5 games and take the match 7-5. One Vision and Garbage,Third and fourth placed teams also played each other also which resulted in a 6-6 draw with Kev Hill winning both his singles and hitting two ton plus out shots. Elsewhere Corona Kids ha a good 10-2 win over Ladybirds in a mid table clash and No Limits are hitting some form with an 8-4 win against GER Outsiders.
11th November
No change at the top of the league with No More Bets still leading from Neweys Lot. No More Bets had an 11-1 victory away at Corona Kids while Neweys Lot had a 12-0 win at home to GER Rejects. One Vision Also had a good 9-3 win at home to Cunning Stunts in a game where Les Hodkinson had a 12 dart 501 leg averaging 41.7 per dart!! Les also hit another maximum taking his total to eight for the season. Garbage had an 8-4 win over Top Flight While Ladybirds have got off to a great start and are fifth spot. league updated Thurs thanks to Les, anyone that notices a mistake please contact me .
4th November
Week 5 and MCDL broke through the 1000 ton plus scores with Kev Cooper hitting 8 this week and leading the way with 49 ton plus scores., While Les Hodkinson is storming the maximums with 7. No More bets are in top spot closely followed by Neweys Lot. Matt Hubbard hit 114 and 120 Out in his teams 10-2 victory over GER Rejects while One Vision went one better with an 11-1 win away at No Ball Chuckers and No More Bets went all the way with a 12-0 win at Parkfield, although things could have been very different had Parkfield hit their doubles. K Hill hit two maximums but his team went down 7-5 against Neweys Lot
28th October
Only two maximums this week both from One Vision both from the Roberts family, one each for Steve and Shane in their teams 9-3 win over No Limits. Elsewhere Top tons cane from Paul Newstead with 13 in his teams 12-0 victory over Cunning Stunts. Neweys Lot are now top of the league by one point over No More Bets. GER Rejects had their first win of the year in a 7-5 win at Parkfield. Paul Wenn is still leading the top tons with 42, closely followed by Kev Cooper with 41 and Les Hodkinson with 37
21st October
Another great week of darts in March Clubland this week with 237 tons scored. The league is starting to take a bit of shape and No More Bets are at the top closely followed by Neweys Lot. With Top Flight losing Andy Smith with another broken limb, they managed to get a team together but hit an in form One Vision going down 10-2. Other highlights include Paul Wenns 15 ton plus scores in Top Flights 9-3 win over 20 20’s and Les Hodkinsons 6th 180 of the season in One Visions win. Top Tons are now on the web starting with the top 5, if anyone want to see the full list I will see if I can add it soon.
14th October
League published after 2 games however it is going to be an interesting year for teams vying for Top Spot. Out of the 261 Ton Plus shots recorded there were several ton plus outs and an massive 152 Away for Barrie Carter who's team Corona Kids had a close 7-5 win over No Ball Chuckers in a cricket club derby game. However this was surpassed by Paul Newstead who hit a 160 and a 146 Away along with a maximum in his teams 7-5 win over One Vision with Les Hodkinson and Ash Loveday both recording maximums & a 160 Away for Les also. Ladybirds slipped to an 11-1 defeat at the hands of No More Bets who go top of a very young League. Chris Gelling is Top Ton plus scorer with 11 this week in his teams 7-5 win over GER Outsiders.
Can all teams please ensure that results sheets are handed in at the GER or posted at my House or scanned and emailed to marchdarts@aol.com by the Monday deadline the cut off for the paper is midday, however they will not report on 100 scores only on ton plus scores so please check out the weekly results page
7th October
March Clubland darts league got off to a great start in the 2011 2012 season with 227 ton plus scores hit including 3 maximums for an in form Les Hodkinson. Les’ team One Vision beat Corona Kids 11 1. The results showed which teams were in the old Division One, with no real surprises. New Team GER Rejects had their eyes opened by Ladybirds who beat them 10 2 likewise Garbage had a 10 2 win over 20 20’s while No More Bets and Neweys Lot both had 11-1 wins over No Limits and Top Flight. It will be an interesting season as teams settle down and also a long one with the league finishing in May 2012. The league will be recording all ton plus scores and checkouts this year, could teams help by adding up the ton plusses for each player…Thanks
The Paper are requesting due to space issues that only scores of OVER 100 are reported on, We will still report all scores on the website ......I think, depends on the workload

There will be a variety of trophies at the end of season.
The Christmas singles & Pairs competition to be held on 30th December.
Results to dropped off at GER Club by 1pm Sunday, posted at 8 Ellingham Avenue or emailed by 1pm Monday
